The beauty of the Violin: Emma Byrne

In her debut solo recital Bray native Emma Byrne will bring the beauty of the violin to Whale Theatre. With a wide variety of music including works by Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky and Bach, the young violinist brings forward an exciting programme of music.

Emma began playing the violin at the age of 6 and has spent the last 12 years studying classical music at home and abroad. At 15, she was accepted to a music school in Denmark where she spent a year studying music intensively. Upon returning to Ireland she continued her music studies and aims to pursue a career as a classical violinist.

In this unique concert, Emma will share her passion for classical music in an interactive and accessible way. With or without a love for classical music, this will be an evening to enjoy!

Emma has just completed her leaving cert at Loreto Bray Secondary School.
