Songbird: Remembering Eva Cassidy

Join Niamh Strong with her full band for a beautiful evening of songs, remembering one of the greatest female singers, Eva Cassidy. 

Having first lifted a microphone to sing at the age of 9, Niamh Strong was born into a very musical family. Her father, Rob Strong, is a legendary blues singer, and her brother, Andrew Strong, starred as “Decco Cuff” from the movie, “The Commitments”. 

As a singer, Niamh has performed at many large festivals and venues throughout Europe, USA, Australia and Canada, which has given her the experience and courage to pursue her own dream to become a solo artist.

In March 2018 Niamh completed a new album dedicated to the songs of Eva Cassidy, titled “Niamh Strong Sing’s Eva Cassidy”. Now, Niamh is bringing the album to the stage, with an intimate performance at the Whale Theatre.
