Adjacent Meridian Point,
Route 66 Big Band, are delighted to bring their Live in Concert Show to the Whale Theatre on 25th January for the very first time.
This 16 piece Band, including four singers, six strong brass line up and a great sax section is quite unique. Their programme takes audiences on a magical musical trip from the big band era of the 40’s right up to date including numbers made famous by Glenn Miller, Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Adele, Tina Turner, Tom Jones, Joe Dolan, Amy Winehouse and many more and has something to please all tastes and ages.
The Band provided the music for the Rose Ball at the Rose of Tralee Festival last August and delighted a capacity audience when they played the Metropole Hotel at the Cork Jazz Festival last October.
Their Show receives standing ovations wherever they play and comments from some of those who have seen the band include ”I can’t wait for this band to come back, they were truly fantastic, great show”, “It was a great show, great music, class” and “A really entertaining show, the Route 66 Band were superb in every sense of the word”. Definitely a show not to be missed.
