Juno and the Paycock performed by Greystones Players

Greystones Players presents

Juno and the Paycock

by Seán O’Casey

Set in a working-class tenement of Dublin in 1922, during the Civil War, Juno and the Paycock is not only of one of Seán O’Casey’s finest plays but a masterpiece of Irish drama.

While its story takes place during one of the most turbulent periods in Irish history, Juno is also chock full of O’Casey’s trademark humour and peopled with a host of great characters – among them the razor-sharp, hard-working Juno Boyle, her work-shy husband ‘Captain’ Jack Boyle and his soak and manipulative friend Joxer Daly. We share the Boyle family’s trials and tribulations, laughter and tears, as well as the inevitable consequences when personal meets political in civil war.

Join us for an evening of great theatre.

All of Greystones Players’ previous productions at The Whale sold out, so book now to avoid disappointment!
