Adjacent Meridian Point,
Under The Clock 12A | Documentary | 30 March 2018 (Ireland)
Before Tinder, before speed dating, and long before Love Island, there was Clery’s clock.
This is where starstruck young lovers came to meet, usually for their first-ever date. And therefore, it was the springboard for many a fine romance, a grand wedding, and possibly the beginning of a great big family tree.
In this brand new Irish documentary, director Colm Nicell talks to those who have found their true love under this iconic Dublin clock, finding out where the various lovebirds went on that first date, and where they’ve ended up now.
Still in the cinemas, we’re delighted to be able to screen this charming documentary from Snackbox Films, the Dublin outfit who previously brought us Older Than Ireland.
We should also have director Colm Nicell on the night, to introduce the film.
