Greystones Film Club: Sins Of Ireland

Greystones Film Club presents Sins Of Ireland (Ireland PG 81mins)
Through the prism of the confession box – which has its origins in this country – Sins of Ireland is a portrait of an overlooked aspect of a nation’s past and how it impacted many parts of the world.

Fifteen Irish priests, known for hearing the confessions of others, outline what the sacrament of confession was supposed to be and, while confessing the sins of the church, what it became.

It is hoped that director Alex Fegan (The Irish Pub, Older Than Ireland) will be attending the screening for a short Q&A beforehand.
