Adjacent Meridian Point,
In this very special charity fundraiser, Tiglin’s founder and chairman Aubrey McCarthy steps into the hot seat for a 60 minute live interview with Social Fabric’s Andrea Splendori. All proceeds for the night will go towards supporting the work of Tiglin.
Tiglin’s site at Carraig Eden in Greystones will be known to many, and the facility recently won two National Social Housing Awards. Its newest addition, the much loved “Rise at the Cove” social enterprise cafe, has also brought a new energy to the iconic location and the cafe is fast becoming a favourite of the town’s early morning swimmers!
With other locations in Arklow, Brittas Bay and Ashford, Tiglin provides valuable opportunities, housing, rehabilitation and other supports to those affected by homelessness and addiction. Its founder, Aubrey McCarthy has also recently announced his intention to run for the Seanad and so it’s about time we got to know him a bit better!
In true Social Fabric fashion, there will be a mixture of chat, music and video clips, and the opportunity for audiences to ask their own questions. Don’t miss your chance to contribute to this amazing charity, and to learn more about it from the man who brought it to life.
In his own words…“In 2008, I founded Tiglin, a charity that helps people overcome addiction and homelessness. We have assisted hundreds of people and their families to improve their lives. We believe in each person’s potential. We get results that benefit the whole of society.”
