Join Classic Harmony and guests in an evening of wonderful music, covering every genre from Classical to Jazz and Popular standards. From madrigals to moderns, there’s something for everyone. The group r cent,y represented the country at the World Championships of Performing Arts in L.A. bringing home numerous awards for their performances.
Classic Harmony comes from Ashford in Co. Wicklow. This award winning Vocal Ensemble are all members of one family and have sung together since the young people were very small and now produce a unique blended sound born of our familial relationship.
The group sings in close harmony, a cappella and with instrumental accompaniment on Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Harp and Tin Whistle. The ensemble has won many competitions including the Family Ensemble category at the Feis Ceoil in Dublin, three years in a row, at the Derry International Choral Festival in 2016 and 2017 and the Mayo International Choral Festival in 2018. They were also finalists in The Soloist competition run by The Cross-Border Orchestra in 2018 and 2019. They have appeared on television on RTE, TV3 and TG4 and on national and local radio. They have performed in concerts at local venues, at the National Concert Hall and at venues around the country including, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh and St. Columba’s Long Tower in Derry and most recently at City Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and St. Ann’s in Dawson St. Dublin as part of the Dublin International Choral Festivals in 2018 and 2019.
Classic Harmony have performed to small audiences of around 120 in the likes of the Whale Theatre in Greystones on two occasions in 2018 and large audiences in the likes of the National Concert Hall or St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Dublin where they wowed audiences of over 1000. They have also performed at Corporate functions such as Dublin City Council’s launch of the Dublin International Choral Festival and the launch of the Mayo International Choral Festival.
This is going to be a night to remember, the Kelly family proving that real magic can happen when people just come together in perfect harmony.
