Adjacent Meridian Point,
Chris de Burgh gets up close and personal for this intimate, ultimate, once-in-a-lifetime gig.
And it’s all for a tremendous cause, the proceeds of this special concert to be donated entirely to Greystones Cancer Support.
Given just how unassuming and private Chris de Burgh is, it’s easy to forget that he is one of the world’s most famous and successful artists.
Here’s a man who has, after all, sold over 45 million records worldwide.
Renowned for holding an audience in the palm of a hand for two hours because of his big and much-loved catalogue, this night is likely to include international hits such as Don’t Pay the Ferryman, A Spaceman Came Travelling and, of course Lady In Red
Having his 21st album, A Better World, proving to be yet another chart success, each hit, each tour, the de Burgh craft is now at a very fine and potent point in 2018.
As this is his first solo concert in Ireland for ten years, there’s going to be an awful lot of people high on emotion on the night.
We would like to thank Paul McNeive, our wonderful guest MC for the night. We would further express our gratitude to Mark and Mary Molloy for their ongoing support for this annual fundraiser.
