SONGS IN THE KEY OF GROWING UP

Ahead of their students’ showcase on Sunday, March 30th, Harmonics music teachers Darryn & Elaine Scott trumpet the wonder of making music.

Music is the universal language, it’s the soundtrack to your life, your emotional confidante, it feeds your soul and is a tool to explore and express all that is inherently you!

It can be very easy to be flippant and overlook how fundamentally important music can be to a persons emotional, cognitive and physical development.

Learning a musical instrument, including learning how to use your voice, which is your first instrument as a newborn, has a profound impact on your development as a person.

Extensive research has shown that in the early years, it has a significant impact on developing creativity, expression, confidence and communication, to name but a few.

From a holistic standpoint, learning an instrument can provide healing and therapy and is particularly beneficial to children with additional needs.

Most importantly, music is meant to be fun; a way to naturally express all those emotions, chase your dreams, share the joy with others and create a groove!

So, what are you waiting for?!

The Harmonics Music School Student Showcase is at The Whale on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3pm – tickets here: https://whaletheatre.ticketsolve.com/ticketbooth/shows/873651018
