Greystones Poetry Trail Digital Exhibition

Welcome to our Greystones Poetry Trail Digital Exhibition!

After the success of last year’s “Poets Wall”,  the Whale Theatre announced in March 2021 it would once again be teaming up with Greystones-based poet and curator Frances Browner. We received over 50 incredible poems from local poets of all ages, experience and backgrounds. All of whom were inspired by the theme “New Directions: Maps and Journeys”.

Congratulations to all the wonderful poets who sent in their poems. We hope you enjoy finding and reading them all around our beautiful town.

The Poets Trail is curated by Frances Browner, who grew up in Dublin and spent twenty years in New York, before relocating to Greystones. Frances’ short stories have been published in magazines and journals; broadcast on radio and shortlisted in competitions; one was highly commended in the Costa Book Awards 2020. Her poems have been published widely and a haiku won 1st place in Dun Laoghaire Local Voices 2020. Her collection, Roots & Wings, was launched by Revival Press in December 2019, available from Limerick Writers Centre.

Or if you would like to hear the poems read by the poet themselves, you can find that right here.
