With the Greystones Film Club screening new films being every month now at The Whale – and Ken Wardrop’s Making The Grade is here on Wednesday, May 16th – cinema’s classics are also being lovingly brought back to the big screen.

Having kicked off with Casablanca, and included such much-loved big-screen beauties as Cinema Paradiso, The Incredibles and the original Star Wars trilogy, the plan is to celebrate all of the genres, eras, leading lights and fun nights out that film has entranced us with over the last 100 years.

And in keeping with that, there are two more Star Wars trilogy originals coming up, both on Bank Holiday Mondays – The Empire Strikes Back on May 7th and Return Of The Jedi on June 4th – whilst the late, great Milos Forman is celebrated with a screening of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest on Wednesday, May 23rd.

To find out more, and book your spot, you need to head over to the Greystones Film Club site – where membership is free. You can find out more here:
