Digging The New Breed

Having debuted this time last year, Greystones’ very own Battle Of The Bands returns, bigger, better, brighter and maybe even a little bit louder.

Yep, with so many wonderful young artists finding they can release their music directly to the public via the internet, it’s never been a better time for musicians who want to be heard. And with Stepping Stones, these young stars of tomorrow can sound – and look – even better, with the prizes including recording with Hive Studios, both a professional video shoot and photo shoot, a cover story on The Greystones Guide, a commemorative poster of their win, and a live showcase final at The Whale on Sunday, March 25th.

With both a public vote and a judges prize, the competition is open to anyone living in Greystones and the surrounding villages, and is a perfect springboard to fame, fortune, fans, and a big house over in Newcastle.
